A I D S L I T I G A T I O N The Haggard Law Firm, P.A., is dedicated to its work on behalf of victims of blood transfusion-related AIDS. Our work in this area has instigated new law and policy, in large part due to its successful conclusion of more than a dozen such cases, two of which include: Silva v. Southwest Florida Blood Bank, Inc., and Ray v. Cutter. In furtherance of his commitment to AIDS education, Robert Parks, partner in the firm of Haggard Parks Haggard & Lewis, has published several articles and has instructed other attorneys on litigating AIDS issues through speeches and seminars. He led the seminar, “Handling the Plaintiff’s AIDS Case Against Your Friendly Blood Bank,” at the 1995 National Continuing Legal Education conference in Vail, Colorado. Most recently, Mr. Parks served on the executive plaintiff’s steering committee in the national multi-district case of Wadleigh v. Rhone-Poulenc Rhorer, which resulted in a global settlement of $600 million. Home
